Multidisciplinary creativity – a new norm?

It took me years to land on the right page in terms of a career choice. I was never one of those people that know what they want to do when they’re 16 and stick with it. And when I eventually did, I was mid-twenties and finally found some sort of inner peace. What I didn’t find was one area to focus on, so I ended up with an undergraduate degree in Media Production. I was finally thriving in what I was doing, learning new things and utilising my creative skills. I think they had always been there, but it took me years to re-discover them.

Now, I enjoy anything from Digital Design to Writing, Photography, Video Production and 3D Design. I wouldn’t say I am an expert in all of them, but luckily I really enjoy challenging myself and learning new things. And with the way job markets are going now, knowing a bit of everything is a bonus. Not only that, but it allows me to work on diverse projects where the goal is various artefacts like Branding, Videos and Photography.
